Furthermore, it shows approximate accumulated power consumption and approximate accumulated power savings when using eco mode daily, weekly, and monthly. The utility also shows the approximate accumulated CO2 emission and savings while using eco mode. You can track power savings by using eco mode continuously. eco Mode sets the conditions described below. If you deviate from these settings, e.g., if you turn up the monitor brightness or turn on the LED illumination (*1), it will no longer be eco mode. eco power plan is used for eco Mode. It has the following settings by default. These settings are in addition to the standard Power saver plan settings of Windows. The right panel displays a visual graph of the user’s power consumption with eco mode on, and eco mode off. This panel also displays the power consumption rate in watts. The left panel displays the Eco mode activation and its settings. Upon clicking the program icon, the main window will display the user interface that has two main parts. TOSHIBA Eco Utility features a simple user interface that can be accessed from the desktop’s system tray. In addition to energy consumption, TOSHIBA Eco Utility displays the amount of CO2 (Carbon Dioxide) emission from the user’s computer before and after activating Eco Mode. Users may activate “Eco” mode on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. This setting can be configured to be activated on a set schedule. The application also suggests a power consumption plan for the user and then shows the approximate amount of energy saved once the user applies the energy-saving settings on their laptop or notebook computer.
